Numbers and decisions

Sometimes a number seems irrelevant, it can go by unnoticed.

The number on a door. Irrelevant to most, just one of many. But likely very material to the owner. Maybe a couple or a child’s first house. That number is likely to be remembered. Deeper than the number is perhaps the significance behind it. The decision that led to the number, maybe a story behind that.

On Tuesday this week it was 100 days into this year.

For most the day will have passed without much notice.

However, this year the 11th April and the number 100 was a little different. I tried Dry January for the first time this year. Once it finished, I decided to continue.

I don’t have a strong plan for the future. Just now it feels right.
